Investigators are still waiting on the autopsy report in the Evelyn Boswell case

The Sullivan County Sheriff’s deputies and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigators (TBI) told the folks over at WVLT8 that they are still waiting on the autopsy and toxicology reports in the Evelyn Boswell Case.

Related-Judge James Goodwin will hear Megan Boswell's attorney's request to reduce her bond

And until they receive those reports, the charge of false reporting is the only charge Megan Boswell will be charged with.

Here’s what Sullivan County Sheriff Jeff Cassidy told the WVLT8 folks, “As soon as we do learn something new we will let everybody know. I think everything is just sort of paused, just because everybody is trying to create an environment where they’re not working on top of each other.”

With all of this COVID-19 business going on, the folks over in Tennessee have had to socially distance like everybody else in the country.

And that’s understandable because the one thing you don’t want is for the team of investigators who are investigating the murder of a child to end up on the outs.

That there will definitely slow down the case which could possibly lead to other suspects, like Megan Boswell’s mama Angela Boswell and her boyfriend William McCloud, getting away with murder.

If y’all remember right, Angela Boswell and that young man of hers got themselves in hot water after they fled to North Carolina in what appeared to be an effort to flee justice.

They both got hauled back down to Tennessee where they were thrown in jail for stealing that BMW they say they didn’t steal. They made bail, got out, and then…wait for it, the people got them for stealing again! This time around, those two hit up Walmart.

The folks over at Walmart banned Angela Boswell and that young man of hers for life after they were caught red handed trying to steal $45.02 worth of stuff.

Angela Boswell and that young man of hers got themselves thrown in jail again. They made bail and got out again. The only difference is that they haven’t made a peep or a sound. And it looks like the reason they’ve decided to be on good behavior is due to the police finding 15-month-old Evelyn Mae Boswell’s body buried in Megan Boswell’s daddy’s backyard.

Considering the fact that young William McCloud there told his bail bondsman Derek Bishop that “the baby’s mother knows where the baby is,” it’s quite interesting that William McCloud and his ol’ lady got a sudden case of the hush mouth after the police found the baby.

The police haven’t said that Megan Boswell’s daddy is a suspect because he isn’t acting suspiciously. He isn’t getting up and haul tailing up the Mason Dixie Line, trying to flee Lady Justice’s good hand and he isn’t robbing stores of $45.02 worth of items.

Megan Boswell’s mama and her mama’s young man are another story. And you know what they say, “If you’ll steal, then you’ll kill.”

With the way things are going, I wouldn’t be surprise that when the state does announce the findings from the autopsy and toxicology reports that they end up charging two other folks, Angela Boswell and William McCloud, along with Megan Boswell for the murder of 15-month-old Evelyn Mae Boswell.
